8″ x 10″ collage. The print background is on yellow drawing paper. Printing on a Gelli plate is a multi-step process which leads to unique color combinations, this one with blues and greens, turquoise, and yellow. Professional-grade Golden acrylic paints were used. The smaller fern print was collaged with other printed papers and a fabric piece with “HEAL” stenciled in violet. It has more hand-stenciled details on the edges. Lastly, the piece was hand embroidered with Japanese Sashiko thread following a traditional Sayagata or “path” pattern. Ready to frame. Printed with excitement over the serendipitous nature of the process, and stitched with calming joy. Mailed with a foam board in a clear bag. Enjoy -Nan
