Description
8″ x 10″ original fern print on orange drawing paper. A multi-step process which leads to unique color combinations, this one has blues and greens, turquoise, and hints of violet. The dried fern was imprinted on a Gelli plate with Golden acrylic paints. It has hand-stenciled details, and a collaged piece with “heal” in orange. Mounted on thin white board. Lastly, the piece was hand embroidered with Japanese Sashiko thread following a traditional bamboo pattern. Ready to frame. Printed with excitement over the serendipitous nature of the process, and stitched with calming joy. Mailed with a foam board in a clear bag. Enjoy -Nan
