8″ x 10″ collage. Beautiful background original print in a colorway of violets, turquoise, pastel blue, and greens on a piece of textured paper. Professional-grade Golden acrylic paints were used in a multi-step process of printing on a Gelli gel plate. This was hand stitched with Sashiko white thread in a running stitch. The top piece of printed fabric (muslin) was first marked with pencil from a stencil of the “Linked Seven Treasures” pattern of traditional Japanese embroidery. Hand stitched and attached to the background. Last, a printed piece of paper with the stenciled word “HEAL” was glued underneath the fabric piece. Ready to frame. Printed with excitement over the serendipitous nature of the process, and stitched with calming joy. Mailed with a foam core board in a clear bag. Enjoy -Nan
