16″wide x 12″high x 1¾”deep, on stretched canvas acrylic, silver leaf, metallic silver thread, hand embroidery This canvas was covered with silver leaf. Then painted and hand embroidered with two lines of x’s in metallic silver thread. The “x” is a notation for love often written at the end of a letter or greeting card. The sky and clouds are experienced as airy, spacious and inspirational natural elements. This may also reference the open, limitless and clear resource of Self as compassion, curiosity, patience, joy, and creativity within all of us.
