The medium size painting combines hues of red, yellow and green to evoke a landscape with the horizon blazing with firey reds. I added thin strips of a printed fabric with machine stitching, hand embroidery, and strips of an oil painting for interest and texture. As with most abstract work, it can be hung portrait or landscape, and “upside down” with the red at the bottom!
