Need a little inspiration to make something or try a road less taken? My Creativity 14″H x 11″W poster is for you. The original mixed media painting was made in steps: first, for the painting, I glued a weaving of fabric strips to a piece of thick watercolor paper. Then layers of acrylic paint were added over it, and scratches into the paint. On a special embroidery machine I embroidered the word “CREATIVITY” on a piece of vintage fabric. It was added to the acrylic painting along with machine stitches around the edges. The painted paper was glued to a wood box for easy hanging. Part of my Self Series. Enjoy. Nan
