Wow! The vibrant reds make this is a powerful painting. The textured background and sides were made by pressing a palette knife into wet acrylic paint. The central figure was created from layers of thin pieces of acrylic paint carefully glued together into a “butterfly” composition. Colors include dark, medium and light reds, pink, burgundy and black.
Small is beautiful. Put this in a grouping or alone on a smaller wall space. Enchant a tiny bath, place near a lamp on a bedside table or entryway credenza. Simply prop in a decorative easel on a desk.
