Transformation Green

$60

10″ x 10″ x ¾” acrylic painting on stretched canvas

Central figure with shades of apple green, blues, yellows, with a touch of black and white.  Called “palette skins,” these are made by pressing dabs of acrylic paint between paper, and meticulously scraping the thin pieces off and glueing together with clear gel medium.  On a background of forest and hunter green and black paint textured by pressing with a palette knife when wet. A final coat of glossy gel medium seals the composition.

Great alone on a small wall, in a tiny bath, or small table vignette.  Or buy additional pieces in the Transformation series to hang horizontally above a sofa, headboard, desk, credenza or buffet.
