8”x 10” Collage. How beautiful is this collage with greens and turquoises on a black background? So relaxing. Bits of gold stenciling add depth. Fabric and papers were hand printed on a gelatin plate (Gelli). Pressed rue leaves are on a piece of muslin fabric printed with a carved Nepalese wood block stamp. (Rue is an ancient medicinal herb.) Hand embroidery with Japanese Sashiko thread. Mounted on a thin black backer board. Ready to frame. Mailed in a protective clear bag and foam core board. I imagine this next to a green plant on a desk, shelf, or in a window. Enjoy -Nan
